Machine Wash Warm, Tumble Dry Low. Do not use laundry additives like chlorine bleach or fabric softeners, as these will reduce the absorbency of the pad. For best results, wash and dry fully prior to first use. Wearever® recommends Puracy Natural Laundry Detergent and Stain Remover.

Does the lace show through clothing?

The lace trim sits on the front panel, layered over the pad, and the back is solid nylon — designed to read as regular underwear under most clothing.

Will the lace feel scratchy or irritate skin?

This style has a 100% nylon body, with beautiful lace built into the front panel. The lace is as soft as the rest of the body of the garment - it's made from the same type of material.

How discreet are they? Do they feel bulky?

The L109 is a high-leg style brief with a sewn-in pad that collects & holds up to a total of 5 oz of leaks. The front of this style is a feminine lace front panel. The back is smooth, plain nylon fabric. Our customers say this style disappears under most clothing.

How much can they really hold?

Wearever® incontinence underwear is built to collect small leaks and light drips. No matter what style or absorbency level, Wearever® underwear can absorb a max of 1 to 2 oz per leak, until the pad fills to capacity. Our L109 model will hold up to 5 oz total. Wearever® underwear is not intended or suitable for sustained streams or full bladder voids. If you're dealing with more frequent small drips and light leaks, Super or Maximum absorbencies may be a better match for your needs.

How do I wash them — does the lace need special care?
